About
One product with two parts: a planner that places crops by space, season, light, water, rotation and defensible companion relationships, and a reference that shows the evidence behind every claim.

What this is
A garden planning tool and a reference site built around one rule: every companion suggestion has a direction, a mechanism, a context and a source, and unknowns are shown as unknowns. The planner runs entirely in your browser and stores plans only on your device. The reference covers 63 plants with 119 reviewed relationship records drawn from 33 sources.
What it is not
It does not claim to cover all plants, it does not produce a mysterious compatibility score, it does not host accounts or sync to a server, and it does not treat popular charts as evidence. Regional calendars exist for 6 regions; others are derived from frost dates you enter and are labelled as estimates.
How it is built
Static pages generated from validated JSON and Markdown, a TypeScript planner that runs in the browser, local-first storage (IndexedDB and localStorage), and a service worker for offline use. The build fails if a relationship references a missing plant or source, if a supported or avoid record lacks evidence, or if a plant page lacks substantive content. Source code: GitHub.
