Editorial Policy

  1. Evidence first. A relationship is "supported" only with tier A or B evidence. Tradition is labelled tradition.
  2. Direction and context on every claim. A→B never implies B→A; every record states arrangement, distance, timing, management and limits.
  3. Unknown means unknown. We never infer "compatible" from the absence of evidence.
  4. Separate what is separate. Rotation, physical fit, timing and companion evidence are different checks and different layers.
  5. Community reports are not evidence. They are shown apart, with sample size and context, and never change a tier or a score.
  6. No fabricated authority. No invented reviewers, credentials, ratings or testimonials. Reviewer status is stated plainly.
  7. No advertising influence. Ads, if ever present, never sit inside tools, warnings, citations or before a requested answer.
  8. Images teach. A decorative image is never presented as proof that two plants affect one another; placeholders stay descriptive until an accurate asset exists.
  9. Corrections are public. Changes create new record versions; the repository history is the log. See corrections.
  10. Privacy by design. Plans and preferences stay on the user's device. See privacy.
