Summary
No accounts. No analytics cookies. No server-side storage. Your plans, bed history, seed inventory, task completion and location preference are stored in your browser's local storage and IndexedDB and never leave your device unless you export them.
What is stored locally
- Region preference and frost dates you enter (localStorage, key
gp.prefs.v1). - Task completion (localStorage).
- Garden plans, beds, logs, seed inventory and observation drafts (IndexedDB, database
garden-planner). - Cached pages and data for offline use (service worker cache).
You can clear all of it from My Garden → Settings or from your browser's site data controls.
Device location
The calendar offers to use device location only when you press the button, after the browser's permission prompt. The coordinates are used once, in your browser, to pick the nearest preset region. They are not stored and not sent anywhere.
Third parties
Pages are hosted on GitHub Pages (GitHub's privacy statement applies to server logs). The site uses system fonts and does not contact a font provider. No advertising, tracking or analytics scripts are included. If advertising is added in future this page will be updated first and a consent choice will be offered where required; see cookie choices.
Community observations
Not yet live. When they are, the form will ask for country/region and approximate climate, never an address, and will explain consent and moderation before anything is sent.
