Target

WCAG 2.2 AA is the minimum target for every public page and for the planner.

What is implemented

  • Every status and warning has a text label and an icon; colour is never the only signal.
  • The planner never requires drag-and-drop: plants are placed with select-and-position controls that work by keyboard, switch and screen reader, and the bed is also available as a table.
  • Timelines and charts have text alternatives; diagrams have captions and text equivalents.
  • Touch targets are at least 44 px; labels are visible, not placeholder-only.
  • Reduced-motion preference is respected; no animation is essential.
  • Skip link, landmark regions, focus management after dialogs and route changes, and visible focus rings.
  • Print styles for plans, task lists and calendars.

Known gaps

  • Plant visuals have descriptive alternative text on profile pages. Remaining documentary photograph slots stay clearly labelled until accurate licensed assets are available.
  • The bed editor's visual grid is complex; the table view is the reliable alternative and we keep improving the canvas's announcements.
